That's a good question, I can only assume the additional seat has been retro fitted. Bond and Jones used the car in the 1988 season, finishing second at that years Bathurst 1000
The photo's are from Fast Ford Magazines coverage of the car, but I did not read the article, it may have explained then. The aussie's are very big on retro touring car events, so could be for track demo's
It's an Austrailian Group A Touring Car rather than a Rally spec
